Bunbeg beach

Located at the base of Strand road, Bunbeg Beach is a safe, sheltered beach with shallow water and a long sandy bech. On it sits the iconic "Bád Eddie" (Eddie's Boat) a shipwreck which has been situated on Magherclogher beach since the early 70s where it had run ashore due to rough seas.

Across the dunes lies miles of golden sandy beach, streaching all the way around to Magheragallon pier.
